My Goals 2012

My Goal For this week 2012 is to get better at my 6 time tables and 4 time tables.
I think I can achieve that by practicing at home every day and saying the answers over and over again in my head.

School Picnic

How many people normally come to your picnic? Well, we had over 600 kids come to our school picnic.  We were even lucky to have a sunny day after Thursdays heavy rain. We were so happy.
Finally, arriving at the picnic I quickly  put my bag down and rushed to the volley ball game .I played for a little while but then I started to get bored so then I  headed down to the beach.



So I started to play with the gooey clay.I made little pottery with the clay and it soon dried up into a beautiful garden pot. My arms were getting tired so I went up and had my morning tea.

All in all, it was a great picnic. Lots of fun, friends and family and  my favorite kind of a day.

Monday Mornings

I am learning to write an introduction that hooks in my audience.Here are 3 versions . Which Monday Morning introduction.
Which do you like the best and why ?

1. I knew that me as a kid needs 9 to 10 hours of sleep. So I go to bed extremely early.Then Monday morning comes around, and I'm not tired at all.

2. 40 out of 52 Mondays I struggle to get up for school . I Imagine waking up for 52 Mondays every year , I would probably faint. Monday mornings just kill my beauty sleep.

3. Monday Mornings are so hard to get up because you feel so tired after your weekends, especially when you've just had your friends over. I have to get out of bed though, and get changed for school.

Auckland Rain

Why Auckland!  Why rain in Auckland ,our city has been suffering in rain for the past 2 months and finally its sunny. This week  I wished that the rain would just stop and my dream came true. Now  finally I can enjoy the sun.

A Kingfisher

Do you like kingfishers well, If you do I am going to give you some Information about this beautiful bird.

Have you ever wondered were a kingfisher lived well this little bird lives In the wild. The feathers on a king fisher are brightly coloured blue  feathers  . This bird in Maori Is called a Kotare .Its diet Is beetles, bugs, spiders and grasshoppers ,and small fish.

My Holiday Highlight

Were off!! Jumping In the car I said “ finally were going to splash planet”. On our way there we stopped 2 times for morning tea and lunch.

Finally reaching splash planet I quickly jumped out of the car and ran in line. First I quickly got changed and jumped In to the never ending river. Its just like a normal river but with  way cleaner  water.

  Moving on to the slides . First I went on the donut slide , this slide Is when you sit on swimming pool rings that make you go really fast and then a  the end you end up tipping over.  You might not know but splash planet Is just like rainbow end but with water , so Its just like rainbow end water theme park.

At the end of the day I really enjoyed my self.I had so much fun and I am sure that my family and I is going to be there some time around next year.

My New Class And My New Teacher

Yeah!! Its a new year and I have a awesome year 6 class which is room 17.

Oh yeah and my teacher is Ms Garden.I love my class room.
